What many people don't realize is that there was a brig in the Royal Navy present at the Battle of Trafalgar. She was armed with 18 guns and was 100 feet long exactly. She was built the same year as Trafalgar: 1805. She was commanded by Commodore Peter Parker for some of her whole carrer. She was present at Trafalgar on October 21, 1805, but was too small to be involved in the fighting. In 1806, a new commander took over and the Weazle reached her peak. At the start of the Adriatic Wars, she scouted and captured or destroyed many French Transports or other ships. She took station on the island nation of Malta throughout some of the war. In 1808, Weazle changed commanders again and took part in capturing privateers throughout the year. In 1812, Weazle joined the warship H.M.S. Victorius and captured the French ship Rivoli at the port of Venice, Italy. From 1813- early 1814, she assisted H.M.S. Havanahh on the coasts of Italy before returning to England. On July 20, 1825, she was broken apart.
