The last known Windjammer in the world

The Windjammer is a clipper or a barque, and in the E.R. Sterling's case, a barquentine. It is usually rigged with square sails or gaff sails, or both, with 3 to 5 masts to carry all these sails. It is a huge ship, often over 250 feet in length and a speed machine, going up to 25-45 knots (maximum of 46 miles per hour) under full sail. It requires a huge crew of up to 45 often to keep it maintained. The average number of men required was 33-45 or more depending on the size.
